It comes with two fixed seats and up to 30 different seating configurations are possible (including a triangular one!). Both seats feature UPF 50+ canopies and peekaboo windows.
Size
The Joovy Kooper X2 is a side-by-side double stroller which can seat two children at up to 50lbs each. Its seats are larger bigger than those of other lightweight double strollers and the canopy has nice-sized SPF 50 sunshades with windows that peek out. Other notable features include a self-standing basket that has a capacity of 25 pounds, cup holders for one parent, and bars that swing away to help children get in and out of their seats. It is a great option for urban and suburban families. It also comes with two kits that include the newborn's wedgie to ensure the best position to lie flat.
Weight
The weight of a double buggies will determine the ability to push. A lighter buggy is simpler to lift and transport, but might not have enough suspension to handle bumps and uneven terrain.
Be sure to check the specifications of each model before purchasing. Certain double buggies have the capacity to hold a maximum weight of a person while others have a frame limit. Some also fold with the seats removed to make them lighter and more compact this can be beneficial in cases where storage space is the limit.

Tri-fold doubles are generally the lightest, since they require only one hand to lift the top and lower sections. They are also a bit smaller than side by side buggies and can be accessed through the majority of doorways. The iCandy Geo 3 tri-fold double is one of most lightweight on the market. It can comfortably fit twins or a toddler baby.
Tandem buggies start out as one pushchair, but they come with adapters to accommodate a carrycot, a second seat or car seat they are the ideal choice for expanding families. Some, such as the iCandy Orange offer over 30 different seating configurations, so they can grow along with your family up to a 3rd child. They are generally heavier than tri-fold doubles, but they're usually easier to move up and down kerbs thanks to the weight being evenly distributed.
Folding
The most compact double buggies fold up easily, in a matter of seconds. Our Lab experts appreciate this feature as it helps them fit the buggies into the back of their vehicles and free up storage space when they are not in use. The Joovy Kooper X2 for example has straps that can be pulled up over each seat and the whole thing folds down. Even our oldest testers were able to do this tri-fold with just one hand.
The light Delta Children LX side by side is another great choice for a double buggie. Its lightweight weight is an advantage, but its main features are such as large pop-out canopies that have SPF 50 and peekaboo windows, swing-away bars that help children get in and out of the seats; and reclining seats and leg rests designed for younger children.
Manoeuvrability
One of the most important factors to consider when choosing a small double buggy is its manoeuvrability and how it is easy to move around with two children aboard. Some pushchairs, for instance the iCandy Orange with its 'cinema seating' (where the back seat is elevated) are better than other models.
double pushchairs is where narrow tandem buggies as well as side-by-side designs come in handy. These buggies may be a bit longer and can be difficult to navigate through doors.
The UPPAbaby Vista 2 pushchair is an excellent example, considering that it is a relatively compact model that can accommodate two additional seats and - most importantly - the pillion board, which can accommodate a third kid.
Other three-wheeled models such as the phil&teds Dot are also incredibly agile, especially thanks to its clever 'dot kit' that turns it into an inline buggy. It comes with different seating configurations for kids of different ages. It also allows the front seat to rotate to face parents for ultimate face-to-face bonding time. It has an ample storage basket and is easy to fold. It is an excellent choice for growing families!
Comfort
Parents can keep both children safe at the park, grocery store, or any other place with narrow tandem buggies or side-by-side buggies.
